Indirectly Complimented

Set the clock for 7:15, reset it for 8:15, and further reset it for 9:15.
After finally getting-up, I spent some time online until my aunt who helped teach me how to drive came around 11:30. She let me drive her Jeep and we went-out to eat to celebrate my new license. I had us go to Sam's Restaurant since I wanted a feta cheese omlette. Turns-out a woman I know as a cashier at work and her friend were there too. We joined their table. During the conversation, I took a few pictures with the camera from Halloween night. Had some of the home fries that came with my meal and all of my wheat toast with a large cranberry juice and a coffee with two creams. Also took a small pinch of the tuna fish in the uneaten part of a sandwich after it was offered to me.
Since we didn't get much us-time, the aunt offered to drive me to Allston. Unfortunately, I couldn't remember the exact T stop I needed, but we at least went to the end of B-Boston College.
After saying good-bye, I got a small cookie dough ice cream in a waffle cone that lasted me till a bit short of the Harvard Avenue stop.
Gave a piece of pink construction paper to an employee to hand to Sue at Regeneration Records (and hopefully my last message needed.) Asked if I could take pictures of the place and spent the last of the film on the place. There was a random dog that I wished came into view earlier. I would have gotten more than one photo of it.
Got a small cafe au lait at Herrell's and decided to take a bus to Harvard Square in order to ask if Newbury Comics had anything by HUMANWINE. ( http://www.humanwine.org ) The computers said they did, but they didn't.
At least I had a conversation with the employee helping me. Apparently with Virgin Mega closed and Tower Records closing, they're being told to be nice to the customers. The customers coming in from the more mainstream and closed/closing places. The customers that might help Newbury Comics expand.
But elitist employees is part of the experience.
She got to respond, I know, back in the day, like 3 weeks ago, I was mean to everyone, except the punks cause the punks scare me. Then a really interesting customer would come-in and I'd get into conversation with them. (Which matches what we were doing. ::smiles::)
Since the way I heard of HUMANWINE was through a Dresden Dolls MySpace blog post, she showed me the Dresden Dolls book and I got to make fun of the fact that only a fan would care to see Amanda Palmer's kitchen on the included DVD (aka, us.) She misses when they weren't a national act because it was possible to approach the band and ask if they wanted to get beers with your friends and they'd actually do it.
Even they were waiting for a shipment of the CDs the next day, I went to the Hynes/Convention stop to go to the Newbury Street location and got the CD there.
After getting socks at Army Barracks, I went-on to CVS to develop my camera. As I waited, I got the yogurt and fruit salad with granola at McDonald's and then a coffee. A group of young males made fun of the make-over. TVs are on mute and have captions-on and the place constantly plays Classical music. The first time I was there, the Classical music versus it being a McDonald's was exactly what got my attention. But what I'd really like to know is, why does McDonald's feel the need to candy the walnuts in my fruit salad? There is no reason to add extra sugar there.
Got my pictures and went home.
After having the rest of the jalapeno-stuffed olives with sweet potato chips and Coke, I went to bed.
