At 9:15 I rose and attempted to stay-in-bed, but failed after 8 minutes.

I got myself on the 10:25 bus and went to Terra Brasili's again. I've ordered the Guarana Antarctica enough times now that the employee who handed me it knows I don't pour it into a glass and drink straight-from-the-can as evidenced by not handing me a glass. I'm also starting to notice how they pronounce guarana. Had a $5 bill broken into ones and put two bills into the tip jar where the skewers of meat are. Last time I forgot to tip the guy. Had a handful of food left from the pound on my plate, but probably would have eaten everything if I hadn't grabbed a tong-ful of chicken salad. Last time I grabbed this style of chicken salad, I only had the potato sticks top.

Went to the Coolidge Corner stop on the Green Line for the sake of it. That and the fact that I had Mick Mercer's Gothic Rock Black Book and needed a place to sit and read and could do so at Peet's Coffee. But before I would order my small latte, I'd go to Booksmith and picked-up a copy of the Brookline Tab.

Didn't finish the book (yet), but decided to walk-down the street in the direction of the nearby bus route going towards a Harvard Square destination. Walking through a shopping arcade's first floor to the other side had me instantly recognizing the backside of the building from the only time I went to Grand Opening. Since Grand Opening! is no longer a bricks-and-mortar store, I wondered what was in it's place. Another adult store named Good Vibrations apparently.

After walking around the store buying nothing and thinking of Maeve, especially over anything bondage, I returned to the other side of the building and walked-down the street.

Since the buses going-by all said Allston on them and I needed to go transmit a message to a woman named Sue at some record store on Harvard Avenue over there, I got on a bus and went.

Eventually I walked into Regeneration Records and overheard employees mention an item as belonging to Sue. I hung around and a woman walked-in who got into conversation with a male employee over business in a way that indicated she worked there. I couldn't make myself ask right away for Sue, even when I figured-out that the woman was Sue. My initial question to her was actually as to why a series of has were written on a guitar case. Apparently it was Mr. Butch's case and he requested her to paint them there. After sitting on the couch awhile and after a 25-year-old male in suit came-in (in part of the now three-way conversation, he brought-up his age in comparison to an early thirties person), I finally asked if someone named Sue worked there at 3:10.

The woman was Sue and I told her that someone out there really wants her to check her e-mail.

She checked her mail at the computer by the cash register and couldn't figure-out who it would be from the limited information I gave her. I'm going to have to post to that alt.gothic/alt.punk thread and see if that person will give me some identifying information to pass-on.

Asked her for the nearest place to get coffee that's not Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks, but an actual coffee house. Got directed to Hewell's (sic).

Got a small coffee au lait, noted to myself to come back and use the large magnetic poetry that takes an entire wall, noted the sign petitioning customers to design some art, and read the rest of my book on the couch.

Since a patron got told the 90s music was coming from a radio and there were no commercials, I presume it to be from one of the satellite radio providers.

Past 5, I went-out and saw a 57 bus go-by, so I waited for the next one.

Once at Kenmore, I went to the BPL Central Library again. On a day I read a book, I will be very anti-social and just concentrate on reading, even after I'm done with the book. Just worked on the November 2006 Metronome.

Went to the Hynes/Convention Newbury Comics to get a replacement set of socks for the worn, over the knee, black & pink stripes I was wearing and the worn purple & black set at home.

Flava Flav was there for an autograph session since 7 and it was 7:10.

I didn't want to deal with the line to see him even though a part of me knows I wouldn't be doing much for the night/I did want an autograph and maybe a picture.

So I read and waited until I could get my socks, changed new pink ones with old pink ones, and went home.

At home, I found-out the driving school had called to tell me the driving test was scheduled for 2 and the practice hour for 1. Had to find my learner's permit and checks before going to bed.

Went to bed past midnight, soon after 1.

Might be interesting to find out if Good Vibrations is affiliated with the one in ... San Francisco? They have a VERY positive reputation.

Have you and Maeve ever managed to meet IRL? She seems to have vanished from a.g.

Good luck on your driver's test!

school, work, and relationships

What are, what's consuming Maeve's time?

We're too far for me to take a day trip, but we still want to meet.
