Death

Last night my mother told me that a cousin of mine died of her health problems the day previous.  I haven't seen the woman in something like a year and only met her a few times in her life.  So I'm looking at her death in this weird angle of my relative that I did care about, but didn't know well.

My sympathies. It's not really that weird of a situation. You can care about a person and not know them well or spend much time with them.

Care about, but there's a feeling of closeness to the deceased that I won't have that always makes mourning feel so odd.
