Pirates vs. Ninjas vs. Zombies

I've looked at a LJ's friends post wondering where the pirate vs. ninja thing came from and have re-wondered something a little different.  Would pirates and ninjas make a temporary truce to fight a zombie invasion? 

(BTW, no, no one had a serious answer to her entry.)  (Which I wish they did because I've wondered that myself.)

It isn't too hard to imagine: Pirates kick ass. Ninjas kick ass. Geeks like to say who would win in a fight. It was bound to happen sooner or later.

What I want to know more about is Pirate, Ninja, Monkey, Robot. Occasionally Zombies and Ponies get added to the mix.
