Sticky Pussy

tenshikurai9Not last Saturday, the Saturday before, I'm awakened by a purring, but sticky pussy. The cat had a substance all over the right side of his and a bit on his right leg. I tried to do an initial washing alone and left a note for my mother that we're going to have to wash a cat *shudder*.
She gets home before I can go to work and tells me to get both Johnson & Johnson's baby shampoo and see what's in the pet aisle of the store. Also, she finds fly paper on the kitchen table that was supposedly hung out of the cat's reach.
So between then and Monday, we had to do several applications of pet shampoo to his head since he was struggling too much for us to do it all at once. Yet he was being more co-operative than he could have so it wasn't quite the shuddering experience it could be.
