It's Tuesday night at work. The guy who does night carriage returns stops by the deli counter before checking-up and says "Guess what happened to me Sunday?" Turns-out he told me that he was in a car accident with a fire hydrant because he knew I would smile.

Avoiding Cat Homelessness

If you had separated from your husband, had six or seven cats, and were running into financial difficulties, what would you do to avoid having to give the cats up? An old friend of mine is in this situation and would like to keep the cats. She does know of a no-kill shelter if she has to say good-bye to them. I'm out-of-state, don't have space, unsure as to how Cheetah would react, and so far as I know, the city still has a three cat to a household limit so I'm unable to offer housing to them in the meanwhile. Any suggestions?
